This Thursday, assistant director Heidi Ouwinga, chats with Lisa and Jack Foster about National Down Syndrome Awareness month. Jack has Down syndrome and is a beloved patron at our library. In this video we hear about Jack’s love of animals, and some of his favorite board games and book series. Jack recently graduated from high school, and is volunteering at Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls.
